Gathering to conjure inner repair, growing into heart-full action

What does Reparations mean to you?

My hope: I’m Kathy Lea, artist/musician, a white woman who is committed to tending to the legacies and wounds of my emergence and inheritance into this time and place. I am grateful to be collaborating with Dharma teacher Bhavana Sarah Addae, founder of Field Temple.

With the support of Buddhist teachings, my hope is to co-nurture a space where we can be honest about how colonization lives in our daily lives, attitudes, choices, and relationships (especially with ourselves!), and see what changes and actions we can grow together.

Our initial container is inspired by the work of Konda Mason at the intersection of Land, Race, Money, Culture & Spirit. For 5 sessions, each week we will hold space for one of these topics. Each week, I offer a recording of a guided meditation designed to bring in resources, and point to a podcast related to the topic. If you don’t have time to do either, that’s okay! Everything is by invitation. We will listen to short excerpts of the podcasts together in the gathering.
